There certainly is, although it may depend on your network operator - but go to: 'messaging/options/settings/multimedia message' and change 'MMS creation mode' from 'restricted' to 'free'. * +

Dude are you trying to send a software? FYI some networks limits MMS files to 400kb, while other below. Don't be surprised if your msg don't get delivered. * +

tried the free option in settings but still cant do it. Its not my operator because on my other phone i can send bigger files. I am on o2 and the file i am trying to send is 280kb * +

Yeah, I think o2s limit is much less than that - you can send virtually any size or type of file using mms-it as mentioned by erwin_28 above, bear with me a few mins and I'll get you a link. * +

its not o2 because this sim in my other phones will send files bigger than 300kb. * +
