Since this topic's here it's also worth mentioning that messages can sometimes arrive on your phone with no reply number shown - these can arrive because you may have 'wap push' enabled on your phone, there's usually an option to turn it on or off. Generally turning it off will still allow service messages from your network/sim updates etc. but will stop evil spammers using it. * +

HOWEVER - before you all rush to turn wap push off (you can't on all phones) it's often the case that if you buy a ringtone or something, the link would usually be sent to you via wap push and therefore you'd no longer receive it, so obviously don't turn it off unless you're being seriously hassled by unsolicited messages from no discernible source. *
