not really as there is none.. al i'm doing is using phone as a modem and thats it. using *99 and thats it... however sma phone different sim works and same sim different phone works but same phone same sim does not. Thats why i'm confused... lol and yes it is an old phone i admit... * +

When u use the phone with its original sim, the APN its using is set by settings in the phone. But when u try with the new sim, its still trying to use the original APN so it cant connect. Thats my guess. So i think u need to find where u can edit settings to use the correct APN. * +

did you install phone handling software on pc?(i tink dats the only way ur phone can be recognised as a modem when u connect it)... If yes, u should have a connection wizard program nd thats where u supposed to find apn settings... If that don't work what u could try is change the dail up number to *99*(number that corresponds with what number setting the mtn gprs are on your phone)(hash)... * +

an example of a dail up number would then be *99*2(hash), if mtn settings are number 2 on the list of connection settings you have on the phone... I can't guarantee that these settings will work on a motorola handset, but i used to use these on my old sony ericsson nd nokia... * +
