Prepayment for one or two years sometimes gives huge discount on hosting but you don't know if the host exist next year, or even next month. Be very carefull about the terms for hosting. Excess bandwidth use (or even disk space use) can cost more than the hosting fee itself. Successfull WAP-sites sometimes causes conflict with hosting company. * +

Microsoft has free software for ASP.NET www.microsoft.com/Express/ . It can even be used to edit PHP by using some imagination (it will not run PHP though). * +
