Beside looking at the URL search engines have the option of using User_Agent (phone type and capabilities) in their response. To get same result as WAP 1 browsers (wml) in WAP 2 phones it's possible to make a Java J2ME application (browser) that presents itself as an old type of WAP phone. * +

once you have done a search select mobile from the top list of alt menus (where on a pc you can select shopping, images etc), this will then show the same search but with wml sites. or it's supposed to anyway lol * +
