How do you make calls to free phone numbers (0800) when i try to make a call it just cuts out * +

You can't unfortunately - 0800 numbers are not free from mobiles, only from landlines. It's odd that it cuts out though, you should get an audio notification telling you that 0800 calls aren't free from mobiles and to hang up and dial again leaving out the first '0' i.e. you dial 800 plus the rest of the number. * +

but you'll be charged at the rate set by your operator for your tariff - check out the detailed info on your call charges either with the booklet that came with your sim or on their website. * +
