hey i seem to have this new error lately it says timed-out! its like if page dont load quick it just does that, i never had this error appear before, anyone else get it? im with o2. * +

If your using opera-mini to browse go to the top search box where it says www. or http:// then click on it and delete it and type in opera:config or config: then click ok. you should get a list of power settings, theres a timeout setting you can change * +

Could be your phone company has changed the settings that control how long they will let the wap gateway wait for reply from the site you're trying to call. You should only see the error, not receive a new wml-page describing the problem. If the phone company sends a wml-page with the description of the problem (time-out) then the phone company are abusing in violation of the wap-specification. Sending a wml-page will charge you for a page from the phone company that you did not ask for (a small page only but still charged). If you try ty bookmark the the error and succeed making a bookmark with the URL of a WML page you tried to visit then you're probably receiving a page phone company should not have sent. * +

How many seconds does it take before the error appears. Some was-sites sometimes uses a minute or more to respond with pages. If the phone company cuts off after only 30 seconds then wap will be difficult. * +
