I downloaded a java app called bmail also called basic mail on my nokia phone from getjar.com it claims to retrive the email in html form and convert it into text and save it in the app..... *

I wanted to ask is it safe to use this app as it requires to store email address and password to work... Also asks to do pop3 settings... *

I read a blog on codinghorror.com/.org that a program claiming to retrieve google mails and store them offline was also sending backing up copies of your email to the programmers email adress. So watch it... *
