The website u see i opera mini is not the real website (not live). What opera mini does is it copies the screen image with active links at the time of your request and post it on your screen. You will see still images but link will be active. They haven't cracked all types of links though. * +

That's a very good explanation @ami_suz . If Mini loaded all the gifs and other animations from a website onto your phone, most devices would be unable to cope with either the content types or the sheer amount of data. Mini will show you all the info from a site that you need - if you want to experience more site content you could upgrade to a phone that'll run the full Opera Mobile browser * +
