What does this mean? String Index Out of Bounds java/lang/stringindexoutofbounds exeption. Thats what i got when i tried to update opera mini from 4.1 to 4.2. Can somebody help pls? * +

It blows its tiny mind on some phones when you try to update from within the app as not all phones accept the auto-shutdown command prior to installation of the new version. The best thing you can do is to delete 4.1 from your java application manager and get 4.2 from http://operamini.com via your default browser. * +

Although I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as I think 4.2 is rubbish, but it's a matter of personal taste.. @xrayobi - when a download link is highlighted hit '1' on your phones keypad to open your phones internal file browser and choose a location for the download or '3' to open your phones default browser for the download. * +

You should be able to update to 4.2 by going to operamini.com with your phones wap browser. When i clicked on Download, my phone asked if it should replace 4.1. I always use my phones browser if downloading software for my phone. Opera mini screws up websites ability to detect yr phones model etc. *
