Last year, Mozilla announced they were working on a mobile version of their Firefox web browser, to compete with opera mini. But i havent seen anything about this for a long time. Anyone know anything about how this project is coming along, release dates etc? * +

If you google for mobile Firefox, you find stuff about a version of the desktop browser that works from a cd or USB stick, like a live cd... So its mobile in that you can move it from one pc to another... But not mobile as in mobile phone mobile. So where is the mobile Firefox for phones? Is there at least a beta i can try? Opera mini is ok but on my pc i prefer using open source Firefox. I want to use open source Firefox on my phone too. * +

ur talking about the mozzila firefox mobile browser app called fennic, it aint out yet still in development. Will b sometime b4 they get a public beta out, u can see some videos of the development what it might look like when it come's out if u type fennec on youtuce. I think it's called fennic? Best try mozzila or firefox aswell if fennec/fennic dont work or mobile browser * +
