In other to use a phone as a modem, it means u are able to transfer pictures music, and application to ur phone via a pc. U wil find a PC suite which u ar going to instal to ur pc b4 u can get this features to ur phone. And u wil b making use of a usb cable frn the pc to ur phone. * +

To use your phone as a modem is to enable someone to access the internet on their pc with their mobile.. So don't know what the above reply was on about. And yes, there should be a topic already here.. If you have no luck you'll need to put more info up, like what network you're on, phone you're using etc. * +
