Orange began their services as from yesterday...they have affordable rates but not the cheapest so far...they now join vodafones SAFARICOM, ZAIN KE formaly celtel...ZAIN has the cheapest tarrifs but SAFCOM commands 80percent of the market share... * +

So why Orange? They will offer a flat rate of kshs.7 orange-orange and kshs.14 orange-other...(Zain offers Kshs.7 peak and kshs.3 off peak zain-zain and kshs.12 zain-other...SAFCOM offers ksh.10 all round and kshs. 25 from Safcom-other) * +

Well safaricom boasts of the faster broadband speeds of upto 7.2mbps...that means arounds 800kbps at consumer level but its very expensive sold in stupid DATA BANDLES...once your bandle gets finished,..top-up or buy another bandle... * +

Zain have no broadband but with edge and the cheapest charges at kshs. 2.700 p.m ..,though with low edge speeds...its the cheapest...as compared to Safaricoms very very xpensive 3G...and fair prices by ORANGE...THUS ORANGE STANDS OUT... * +
