If you've got a 3g phone then 3 is pretty good at only 5 pounds a month for 1gb, though you have to use a proxy to access some download sites (inbox me for that). You get 10 quid credit if you port your old number too. Otherwise O2 is good at 7.50 per month for 500mb, or you could try Orange's Dolphin tariff which gives you free anytime wap and texts for a 10 pound monthly topup. * +

3 do block some specific download sites, but I've had no trouble getting around that with the 2wap proxy I've been using (it lets you download too). O2 are great as well if you don't mind the odd cookie problem. * +
