Are you talking about Opera Mini or Opera Mobile? Mobile has a zoom function and a desktop layout by pressing the hash key. With the latest Mini (4.1) the desktop view can be accessed at any time by pressing '1' on your phones keypad whilst on a page and unchecking the box by 'mobile view'. *
