Okay i got this version and its great for browsing but when it comes to downloading through my default browse i get the error message pong on a white screen. What can i do. Tried reinstalling but same prob. Anyone know what else i can try? Many thanks * +

That's quite a common error with this version - you may be able to download direct to your phone though by clicking 'save' rather than 'open' (depending on handset model). You'll get a message advising you to get the certificated version, ignore it and press 'ok' above the left softkey, it should then open your phones internal file browser where you can choose the location for the download. * +

thanks garion, but i have tried saving directly to the phone.. im using SE w580i and all it does is saves a file 2 either my video or music folders that you cant open, its weird to explain.. when i used an opera browser before it was fine you could download anything whilst going through the default browser.. should i just go for a lower version u think? or will that make no difference? * +

@bam.19 maybe so bro, try one of the mods - because they're labelled with their mod number they won't overwrite your current official version and you should be able to download via your default browser by pressing '3' on your keypad: http://two.xthost.info/garion/opera206.jar * +
