for UK people, if this happens to u where the sim stops working, lost, stolen or damaged... Just contact your network with a good idea when n how much u last topped up... Any kind of passwords or codes u may have setup on the account n just order a new sim with same number, cred n account past details sent to your address. * +

some may ask why not just get a new sim with fresh account? Well getting your new sim increases chances of getting hold of some numbers u may have lost because the people would hopefully still try n contact u on that num. Also u keep your accounts history which could help u claim bonuses such as o2 upgrades n be a type or bargaining tool if u are a heavy topup user. It is easy to sort out. * +

that also happens to me. lost 5 virgin sim cards wit airtime on it. it suddenly says check sim. I learnt my lesson and now only recharge wit R15 cos last tym my R38 went to waste * +
