Go to network in system preference click on tcp/ip select using ppp and not manual ppp then finally make sure u have d right gprs modem string period * +

go to properties on your dailup connection if you rightclick then the networking tab choose the PPP not slip there then click on settings click the LCP and Negotiate multi-link for single link there *
