Im confused. I have a 3g phone - se k800i on tmob. When the 3g symbol is on my display, i get fast connection - 3g, right? When 3g symbol does not display, and i just have the globe symbol, i get typical gprs speed connect. So, i thought if 3g was there u got it fast, otherwise you automatically get gprs??? * +

Yeah that's right, but for some people the switch from 3g to 2g can end a browsing session (some sites recognize it as a fresh connection and boot you back to the login page), therefore if one is in a very bad 3g area it's a good idea to be able to switch permanently to the most stable connection. * +

i got a samsung g600 but ive turned the jarva off and it seems to be runnin quite fast now. but ive got a 3g sim in and ive turned the edge off as that was a pain in the rear worse than 3g * +
