I connectd my SE k608i(on 3g) as modem on my pc via bluetooth .it was rubbish tbh..the speed ws cr*p..would it be faster if i was to use usb cable to connect fone n pc? I have a nokia 5310 that has a usb cable and its on tmobile..would that be better? * +

t mobile is more stable but download nokia pc suite to run it * +

@realfake: how long were you browsing thru yr phone? Mobile connection speeds fluctuate - using my k800i as modem i can sometimes watch streaming video at youtube no prob, at other times it crawls. As for bluetooth v usb: i dont really think theres much speed difference between the two. Bluetooth is a high speed link * +

usb cable has always been faster for me, change the speed settings to the highest speed * +

So what kinds of speeds were you achieving over bluetooth. Using my Sony Ericsson as a modem with USB datacable, I can get speeds up to 100 K/sec... but it averages out at 40-50 K/sec, and can go down to 5 K/sec when there's no 3G signal and it's going over GPRS. * +
