That doesn't sound like a network problem, that's most probably your phone I'm afraid. Switch off, take your battery and sim out and clean the contacts on both, reinsert and see if there's any improvement. * +

Oh gosh, I could be wrong then - it certainly sounds very odd for a network problem. I'm on Orange and I've never seen anything like that.. *thinks*.. have you guys checked to make sure your access points are still there and normal in your connection settings? * +

TAKE YOUR PHONE TO THE SERVICE CENTRE TO BE CHECK AS IT SOUNDS LIKE A FAULT WITH YOU HANDSET. * +

It certainly sounds like that, and I assumed so when there was only one user saying it, but now there's a second post from a different person on the same network, it does begin to sound like Orange aren't recognizing the connection request from some phones or areas.. odd.. * +

I also have that problem occasionally. If it was a problem with the fone or sim wouldnt it display insert sim all the time? The last time it happened 2 me i had insert sim on my fone for about an hour and a half. Lost the signal and couldnt do ne fin on my fone. * +

Only seems 2 happen in weak signal areas, ie where i live the orange signal is cr*p. Or when im on a train. * +
