Im planning to get a 3g phone to use as a modem with my PC... Im sick to death of the slowness of gprs. Which network would you ppl recommend me to use? * +

I think all networks have their problemz i.e slow wap etc so cant reali say which one's best. Im on tmob contract n got web n walk thingy, use my phone as modem n find it ok. D/load speed sometime varies 30kb to 50kb max. Up2u i suppose... * +

@deewinc: tweakmaster is for windows only, i think, and i use ubuntu linux, so it aint for me. Anyway, there isn't much optimization room in a gprs phone as modem. Upgrading to 3g is the thing to do - it will make my internet link up to 10x faster!! * +

i would suggest u buy a data card or usb modem wid some bundle packs if u want to use it on da pc n they give hsdpa thats 3.5g or 3g dependin on da network * +
