can any1 pls help.i am trying to download sum vids from a site but it keeps saying 'to get these downloads please use your mobile phone/device. I am using my mobile to do this (n95) but it wont work.av tryed opera 8.65 and inbuilt browser .does any1 know what am doing wrong.cheers * +

It could be the connection point you're using to access, do you have the proxy deleted from your connection settings? Try using the wap browser with an unmodified wap GPRS connection point. * +

No, it's best not to have the proxy deleted when browsing that sort of site, that tends to be why it recognises it as a PC instead sometimes - if it recognises a wap proxy port you should be ok. If that still doesn't work, it might be worth having a try with the latest Opera Mini, although that can also be recognised as a non-wap browser by some sites. * +

It's the updated version of the original Internet Protocol (IPV4) and addresses certain issues within the original protocol such as network address translating, routing and security. Not all networks yet offer IPV6 support, and it's unlikely this would affect your download problem.
