Hey people, i have a nokia 7360 and my network is vodafone ireland...for the most part my opera has been working fine, but all day today when i try to connect it says content blocked by operator...my network says they cant help as opera is not their application but can they block content? Or is it an opera problem * +

I've been looking at this for a while and thinking.. we're talking about Opera Mini right? I guess it's possible that they've blocked it, I think Airtel block Netfront or something, but blocking access to the worlds most popular third-party browser doesn't seem like a terribly astute commercial decision. However, let's give this a go - d'you know where your access points are located on your phone? * +

(on most Nokias it'll be in 'tools/settings/connection/access points') click on the one you normally use (not whilst it's in use) and check to see if there's a 'proxy server address' (this may be in 'advanced settings'), if there is - it'll be four sets of 3 numbers separated by dots - MAKE A NOTE OF IT first, then delete/clear it, and try connecting with that access point again. * +

Opera has their own ip/proxy and doesnt uses ur operators one * +

Yes - and if your operator blocks that ip/proxy, you delete your own operators proxy to regain access n'est ce pas? *
