how do i get access to my pop3 email via o2? It works with every other network but o2, i've never in my life been able to get any kinda pop3 email or messenger clients to work using o2's access points. Has anyone here managed it? If so, how? * +

I can still access my O2 email via pop3 on an orange sim (using the symbian Profimail app), but are you on the new 'WEB' tariff (the 7.50 a month one) 'cos lots of people have said they're unable to recieve or send pop3 on that tariff. * +

i've tried for several years on and off while i've been going to o2 and leaving again. I want to be able to retrieve my google mail the same way i can with other networks. * +

i'm on that bolt on with my contract and i can receive my gmail no problem. Are you sure you are using the right settings. Outgoing should be smtp.googlemail.com. It didn't work for me till i used mobile web instead of wap. * +

yeah that's the thing people are telling me to use mobile web etc but nobody's giving me settings, i.e. Access point names, proxies, ports etc. Why not give me screen shots of your settings pages or something? Please.. * +

just get the settings sent from o2. Access point name is mobile.o2.co.uk it doesn't have a proxy and the port is 0 * +
