10 pound top-up: 120 minutes of evening and weekend calls to any network. 20 pound top-up: 180 minutes of evening and weekend calls to any network. 30 pound top-up: 240 minutes of evening and weekend calls to any network. * +

All the new payandgo animal tariffs are a bit cr*p, whilst looking good on the surface. If a network's pushing a deal they sure aint doing it out of altruism, so always check the small print. * +

It's a better deal than O2's Talkalotmore at least, but Vodafone's Stop the Clock is still king for off-peak calls. * +

btw - be warned: on most of the new animal tariffs the basic call charge is 20p per minute (you'll find THAT little nugget buried deep in terms and conditions). Now I don't know about you guys, but my basic call charge at the moment is 15p per minute, so all those extra 5p's could quickly wipe out any benefit from going animal.. *
