ive just got an orange 3g sim (green1) im able to send texts in 3g mode bt dnt get any bk unless i switch to 2g.any1 know why? * +

In your text messaging settings, do you have an option for 'preferred connection' or 'default connection'? If so, try changing it from 'packet data' to 'GSM/UMTS'. * +

Well the reason I asked is because I couldn't send whilst connected to the net, so I changed to the GSM/UMTS and I can now send whilst online, but perhaps with your phone or network you have a different kind of problem, so have you tried with the option above set to 'packet data'? * +

I had that prob couldnt send or recieve in 3g so set it 2g. * +
