I will not comment on which site is BEST for e-mail service via WAP phones but if you create Yahoo account via computer then you may access e-mail and messenger on WAP1 phones without downloading any Java application to phone. Currently both wap.yahoo.com (e-mail) and m.yahoo.com (messenger) leads to Yahoo frontpage. To access specific regional/language versions you may add uk. (or other prefix). * +
