Am thinkin of going on 02 but wanna know few things first. Do they have a content lock and if so can you remove it without having to have a credit card, also on the unlimited tariff are there any catches. . * +

On payg i mean. . I have a sim which iv never topped up, if i topped up say now by 15 and changed to the unlimited tariff would i get the free min and text straight away? * +

change the tariff 1st then topup. If u topup 1st then u just activating the original freebies of that sim. Change by sending a text, LINK to 21300. Also look at recent o2 threads for info on wap bolt on. Garion has said the disadvantages of the unlimited wap deal. * +

Once you're on the correct tariff (you can change by calling 2425 too) then top-up and you should get your free allowance straight away. There is no content lock fortunately. * +

its not o2 only as it goes, ive been on o2 for 5 years * +

o2 unlimited plan involves the free texts just to o2. Unlimited o2 texts. Texts to none o2 networks i believe are 10p per message. Btw if anyone has a new o2 sim n wish to go on this plan, i recommend the free callup method as ragnorak said rather than the sms way. * +
