For ages ive been using a mobile phone as a modem to access the net with my PC. But lately ive heard loads about mobile broadband. So i have a couple of questions: which uk network is best for price? For quality? And which work with Linux? * +

Vodafone are offering 3gb per month for just 15 pounds, and I think T-mobile and 3 have similar deals. * +

3 Mobile Broadband prices are as follows....Broadband Lite, 10 quid a month, 1GB monthly allowance... Broadband Plus, 15 quid a month, 3GB monthly allowance... Broadband Max, 25 quid a month, 7GB monthly allowance. * +

T-Mobile Mobile Broadband prices are as follows.... Web 'n' Walk Plus plan, 12 and 18 month price plans are 29 quid a month, 24 month is 20 quid, 3GB monthly allowance on both... I think I heard T-mobile have a special offer until the end of April or something. Still the other deals are good enough and are easily better value than wap (though a laptop isn't as convenient as a phone of course). * +
