Yahoo can offer free email accounts because of the site advertising space they sell. How much of that advertising can you see (or would be prepared to load) on wap? Therefore it's not surprising that they don't offer wap signup. And although you can create an account with Mini, you can't activate pop3 without a PC - weird but true, the option's just not there with Opera Mini. * +

I got a problm too. I cant log on 2 yahoo mail, it keeps going bak 2 the login screen. I knw u can use opera to go in, but i cant use opera bcoz of my sim card. * +

@aburame if wap.yahoo.com gives problems, u can login on wap.yahoo.co.uk. New accounts can be registered using opera mini on phone * +

garion, i have got a regional yahoo account and i'm able to activate pop3 using opera mini. Same with Gmail. Maybe you should try with page formatting kept on 'basic html' *
