opera mini wont load it as it is server script. You have to install web server for mobile. Don't know if your mobile is symbian or not if yes use pamp or racc00n. * +

*.php files are not downloaded, they are server side programs. They are mostly used to deliver html pages with *.php extension. They can also be used to deliver other kinds of files like wml. Though it is possible to deliver video with *.php extensions this is seldom done. You have almost for sure downloaded a html file (with *.php extension) used to call the download of the actual video file. *
