when i write a link how do i go about highlighting it when someone clicks on it? *

If you're talking about doing so in Prodigits forums, you can't, only admins can, but to so in your blog simply surround the URL in FLAT SIDED brackets with 'link' in the first pair, and '/link' in the second, like this (link)http://blah.com(/link) but remember: flat sided brackets which we can't reproduce in the forum. *
