HSDPA is an upgrade on 3G, you need a Hsdpa compatible phone to get the faster 3G. * +

HSDPA is just the same as 3g. Be aware tho that not all networks support it and the spped available varies... Check this link to find out bout coverage http://hspa.gsmworld.com/networks/default.asp?p=2s=con From experience, Orange UK say they have it but speeds are only about 65kbps and wont be at full whack til 2010!! T-mob have the best HSDPA coverage! * +

It works independantly of 3g but 2 get it u have 2 have 3g if that makes sense. * +

3G hits 65kbs, and you need to under atleast 3G coverage to connect to HSDPA, it runs on at 3.5G i think it is. * +

the phone must support HSDPA ...not every3g phone have it...its very fast...connected to pc...is fast like adsl...from 3.6 mb or evven 7 :D it dipends from your network * +
