tmobile dont do a 3g sim. Its just a sim that works on both. Only orange and o2 differentiate between 3g and 2g sims though both are able to access the 3g service. * +

Same settings should work for both 2g and 3g, just check that your phone is on dual mode if you're not picking up a 3g signal. *
