When i last used imode just about everything was chargeable. Not a good way to encourage imode use. So has anybody used it recently? Is it any better or the same old s**t? Its really big in japan and is supposed to be more efficiant than our wap. * +

But if you still have to pay for most things its never gonna take off here. Plus data charges get very expensive on 02 once you have used your bolt on allowance. More expensive than other networks. * +

STOP PRESS: 02 pulled the plug on imode in july 2007 for new users. Existing imode customers can continue to use the service for another 2 years. (02 say it was because of the lack of handsets supporting the technology, the unwillingness of manufactorers to embrace it for the uk market) * +

Although things could have changed since july last year. Must wipe the dust of my Nec imode phone and try it out lol. * +
