i m using a ES388 bluetooth adapter for doing a dial-up connection but it fails to connect to internet. Internet works fine on the cell but when using pc it stops at verifying username password. i use *99 to dial. help * +

use dial number as *99 or *99***2 or *99***1 if this also does't help then contact 121 for username password also proxy adderss and port number for ur browser.check in device manager is modem installed try to install ur modem form control panel modemphone option.in new network wizard manully create dialup connection give ispname anything username password blank or which is given by 121 use dial no any one given above now right click ur connection in start menu and now look for setting button un * +

m using airtel gprs. the process works fine with other phones. i.e i dial *99 hash(prodigit doesnot allow hash symbol). thanks i shall try it.. * +

when i dial the *99hash then a G appears on the phone's screen but it doesnot get boxed n the pc shows veryfying usename password.. it is a peculiar problem that has happened first time with me. i didnt have such problem with other phones * +

Does 2630 has modem to access net on pc?If it has then put airtelgprs.com on connectivity/gprs/access point.Then connect *
