iam trying to barr all incoming calls on my vodafone which the vodafone operator is willing to do but i need to be able to do it from the phone itself since i may be continually deacivating and reactivating the barr. the problem is that i changed the default barring code on the number a few years ago and i cant remember what i changed it to. vodafone seem unwilling to help * +

why would you want to bar all incoming calls. What would be the use of your phone? The default barring code is what the networks set up not you yourself. I suggest you contact customer services again. * +

The use of my phone would be not being billed for incoming calls whilst iam roaming! And iam continually going in and out of the uk. Handset barring activation would be advantagous for me cos i wouldnt have to continually contact the network to change my barrs. Time and motion theory not having to be kept on hold untill hell freezes over waiting for a vodafone rep to help me. * +

its no wonder vodafone done want to help you slash their income. lol. But still as i said before its always been the networks that has the barring code not us. If you were given it, changed it and forgotten it, i would think you may need to get your phone flashed so as to bring back all the original settings on your phone. What phone do you have? * +

Surprisingly i have uk vodafone! But network barring codes are also, uhh surprisingly network related and have nothing to do with a phones firmware. I changed the code via network ussd codes. * +
