O2 pay and go have a new monthly allowance for making free international calls to both landlines and mobiles anywhere in the world. Pick up a My Country SIM from Carphone Warehouse (free upon buying a 10 pound top-up) and you can get 50 minutes for topping up 10 a month, 100 for 15, or 200 for 30. The only catch is you can't use those minutes for making UK calls, but you can still buy bolt-ons. *
