Yes it starts str8 away soon as ya paid for it. Ya can find out how much ya used by textin to a number it should be in one of the bolt on books ya got wiv ya sim card or phone. Cant remember it sorry. Tho ive never run out before the next time ya pay for it an im always usin wap * +

The best way to check if it's started is to browse a few pages, disconnect, then see if your balance hasn't gone down. You'll need to use your free 1mb first if you have that though. Here's the good news: they don't enforce that 200mb limit, so feel free to browse as much as you like. :) * +
