My orange connection has been great lately. Yesterday I was downloading mp3s and upgrades to my pc solidly 9am to about 10pm. No disconnects, reasonably fast for gprs... and i was using a quid a day extra and didnt get stopped downloading even after loads more than 25mb!! * +

Yeah. People were saying that if you exceeded 25mb, it would no longer be covered by the pound a day deal and you would have to pay orange's pricey per-megabyte rate. See, orange's fair usage policy apparently says 25mb is the daily max. But i havent been experiencing that, or the constant disconnects, that other users have reported * +

...But having said that... i'm using my phone as a modem right now, and it has started disconnecting!! d*mn orange!! * +

i used orange a lot now its cr*p i think orange found i was going ova 25mb a day . t-mobile has brill connection but 3 is the cheapest connetion can b cr*p at times but 5 a month for wap i can live wiv * +

You can get 3G on all the networks. At 7.50 a month for reportedly up to 500mb O2 will be the best value for most, plus you can get 300 free texts for the 10 top-up that pays for your wap. Only problem is the 3mb limit that stops you downloading very large files unless you have a Symbian phone. Connection depends on where you live really, so it's a good idea to test each network if you can. *
