Only the batteries which r mfd in japan from dec2005 to nov2006 will be replaced free of cost.52 models of nokia has this battery.After 300 or more recharge these batteries will melt even blast like a bomd and harm ur handset.As tests shown and complaints over 100 recieved to nokia.

well i'm not alone then.i thought it may be due to some mistake in my part.my battery just swollen and unfit for use.nokia was famous for its hardware.but now it's not able to live upto the expectation * +

Dont even DARE slate Nokia becoz of this, Sony had a VERY similar problem with their Laptop batteries in the US and sum parts of Europe where their Laptop batteries either meltd OR exploded, and sum other Manufacturers thankyou very much * +
