u got the choice of: Telstra, Vodafone, Optus, um... cant remeber the others but u can top up from AUD 10. thats for a prepaid account. * +

I would stick to your plan you have now and just put your phone to roaming. Australia has the worst priced Gprs. No specials ever. telstra charge 30 dollars for one mb. Thats about twenty pages on prodigits. Hopeless.there all charged around that. We have nothing like orange where you pay a certain amount for unlimited. No unlimited here. And its darn annoying. * +
