Got this weird problem? I'm on Orange UK, and using any browser or access point since last might I can only load 12kb of any page. Tried the sim in my other phone and the same thing.. Had to end connection and reload twice just to post this query. Wanted to check with you guys before getting involved with a 'Customer Services' employee who's heard OF English but never tried it.. * +

Just tried 2g and it works fine, must be a problem with 3g in Birmingham like last week... at Orange. * +

I asked to be put through to the technical department, and not only did I get an answer, I got an intelligent and EXACT answer! Gave 'em my postcode and was told that the local 3G transmitter was overloaded and wouldn't be back up until 10 past 5 tomorrow evening. Obviously that's a royal pain, but I was so pleased to get an accurate, sensible answer I hardly cared :) * +

@gigawot and anyone else in the Birmingham area with this problem - switch over to GSM in network settings until tomorrow evening, the 2G connection is working fine. * +

No mate, there IS no hope for Customer Services, the young lady I spoke to was busy telling me in execrable 'English' that I had a 3G phone, when I rather briskly cut through the mispr*nounced BS and asked to be put through to Technical Support. They appear to be based in the UK, and have details of all local network problems. So anyone contacting CS - ask to be put through to Technical Support. * +
