is there a difference in the data size transferred using the above protocols if the same web page is bein loaded onto ur mobile? ive seen that 3g used 13kb vs gprs 3kb to load the exact same page onto the mobile.. why is this? is it speed related? * +

I dont think so. If a page s of 3kb then it wont become of 13kb wit increase in ur server's speed. U r wrong. * +

Like cha17 says above. It refers more to the time I think, the page will always stay the same size whether u use dial up or ADSL. Not to sure why it displays that difference though. Which site did u see this on? Couldn't they perhaps updated the site with stuff, like an interactive wapsite? Then the size may vary * +

i know logic says that the page size shud remain the same despite the fact different protocols are used, i saw this when i loaded exactly the same prodigits page simultaneously usin 2 phones gprs and 3g,this usin opera v3.0 which shows kbytes loaded, thnx * +
