i don't think u can 'turn off' proxy. but u can delete it from web access menu. * +

go to 'web session' and copy your default profile(the one with a tick) give it any name. next, you need to edit the new profile(highlight it then press menu button and select 'edit'), go to proxy, delete it and save. lastly make the new profile your default profile. * +
