the 53 has the best speaker as its stereo sound also it has music player buttons on the outside for quick access. The 55 volume is louder but music plays tinny as it only has a dedicated speaker on the back. You should also take a look at the 5200 which is almost duplicate to the 53 apart from the camera spec and the dedicated music play buttons. * +

Why wud anyone go for an ipod lol! It sucks! Ok i think u shud give more importance to the sound using earphones rather than external speakers.Obviously u not gonna use it as music system? If only sound is not ur main criteria,go for 5500,its way better,its symbian whereas 53 and 52 are nokia os.And u also get a 512mb card wit 55 *
