Ya try *99***1# or replace the 1 with 2, or 3 or 4.. Here's vodacom's dial up number . +27822491000 , and this one u can test for free gprs. When u call the number with no airtime on vodacom u get that sounds that a modem makes.. +27822491100, hope this helps you :D * +

U hav 2 go in the settings menu then find connection settings.then go find the place where u choose Gprs Connection When Needed or When avalible.underneath that it should hav access point(or apn) then that block should be blank.type in: internet in that block.then on ur pc when it asks 4 a dial up number type in *99# * +

If you've got the cd that came with your phone - install it and use pc suite to make a connection *
