By pass proxy!Using your phone browser or PC?Many but can't see how you connect minus the proxy if you internet access is proxy dependant.You'll set bypass but won't get through unless you have a satelite link or do some smart hacking. * +

Virgin Mobile SA doesn't require a proxy to allow for GPRS connection so you could just remove it in your GPRS wap profile but that won't solve your problem. It's the 'vdata' server that actively refuses your connection.. unless you connect using a socket.. but that's not support by phone browsers * +

if opera mini uses socket and that keeps it from disconnecting what about opera on pc. can u change proxy to socket to prevent it from disconnecting??? * +
