i'm in an EDGE coveraged area my mtn is fast on browsing the problem is it takes me less than 30sec to download a 2mb+ file and the result is invalid file pls help how can i loose this speed * +

You know what there's nothing wrong with my phone cause if i download the same file with my vodacom sim i don't get errors, so my logic says that it's the speed that i'm getting with mtn * +

You sure you are not using HSDPA? Cause i ran a speed test and it was 3G. t ran at 357k and i downloaded 1mb in 22secs i think 2 meg is not possible in EDGE. Maybe i'm wrong * +

I get what you say. My download speed runs at 45kb and i downloaded 1meg in 22-23 secs. And 50 is 3G estimated max. YOu saying EDGE runs faster than 3G? * +
